At Wellbeing Psychiatry Services, we value open communication and timely responses. We use the Spruce app, a HIPAA-compliant messaging platform, for secure, non-emergency communication. Appropriate uses include medication questions, treatment plan clarifications, scheduling or administrative inquiries, and routine follow-ups.
Response Time
Messages are typically reviewed and answered within 24–72 business hours. Messages sent outside office hours (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) will be addressed the next business day. Please note that office communication hours may differ from scheduled appointment times, and we ask that you communicate courteously and professionally with our team.
Emergencies
Do not use Spruce for emergencies. For medical or psychiatric emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For urgent mental health crises, call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
Security & Confidentiality
Spruce uses HIPAA-compliant encryption to protect your health information. Please avoid sending sensitive information via unencrypted email or text.

- All controlled medications must be prescribed by this provider and filled at one designated pharmacy unless otherwise approved.
- Due to nationwide stimulant shortages, refills may be delayed. Patients should contact their pharmacy first and may be required to try an alternative medication if unavailable. One transfer to another pharmacy may be permitted per occurrence.
- Refills are only provided during scheduled appointments. Lost or stolen medications will not be replaced.
- Random urine drug screens may be required. Refusal, unexpected results, or misuse may result in modification or discontinuation of medication.
- Consistent follow-ups are required. Missed or repeated cancellations may result in discontinuation of controlled prescriptions.
